Flower Power

 Ich finde es toll, dass immer mehr Bauern Feldränder oder sogar ganze Wiesenflächen für Wildblumen bereitstellen, damit Bienen wieder mehr Nahrung finden.  

I think it is great that more and more farmers allocate unploughed strips or even whole meadows for blooming wildflowers so bees can find more nourishment again.

Die überwiegenden Farben sind das Blau von Kornblumen und das Rot von Mohn. * The main colors are the blue of the cornflowers and the red of the poppy. 

Dazwischen sind auch immer wieder Sprenkel von Gelb, Weiß und Violett zu sehen. * Every now and then speckles of yellow, white and purple can be seen in between. 

Bienen und Hummel, die von Blüte zu Blüte fliegen, sind überall zu sehen. * Bees and bumblebees can be seen everywhere as they fly from blossom to blossom. 

Ich war völlig fasziniert von dieser Holzbiene, die ich hier bis jetzt noch nicht gesehen hatte. Im Vergleich zu einer normalen Biene ist sie riesig. * I was totally fascinated by this carpenter bee that I had not seen around so far. Compared to a normal bee it is huge.
